Hey there, just checking in if anyone has the latest info or knows the release time. I thought it would drop on the 8th, but since I'm in Australia, I'm curious about the exact time and timezone. Also, where can I get it? I was expecting it to be an "A Windows update," but some sites say I need to download it from the app store instead.
Microsoft issues updates in stages to avoid overwhelming their servers. You might need some time before accessing them. Because of time zone variations, the release could appear the following day. The first version of Windows 8.1 is available via Windows Update.
