Windows 8.1 struggles with performance after hardware changes
When I start Windows, it hangs on the welcome screen for a while before showing the desktop, but nothing loads and everything feels very sluggish. It eventually freezes, leaving only the mouse functional. The second screen also fails to appear. A warning appears saying "Microsoft Windows have stopped responding."
The issue occurred following the hardware upgrade, specifically involving the GPU.
Did you uninstall the previous chipset and GPU drivers? If they aren't functioning, attempt to fix the setup or perform a full reinstall.
