Hello everyone. I built my first computer yesterday and everything worked smoothly. During the Windows 8.1 installation, I realized I couldn't use the mouse to set up the system. The mouse moved but didn't respond. I assumed it was normal, so I continued using just the keyboard. Windows installed fine, drivers updated, and everything seemed okay. Later, I noticed I couldn't scroll down in Internet Explorer. I thought it was an IE issue, so I switched to Chrome. It worked perfectly there. After that, I couldn't interact with any menu items related to metro UI. I could open tabs and click the start button, but couldn't access settings. When I hover over search results, they light up, but clicking doesn't trigger anything. After much searching, I found that using a local account instead of an online one resolved the problem completely. However, whenever I restart Windows, the issue returns—even though I'm now using a local account. I have to log in online every time I open Windows. This is really frustrating. I'm not sure what's causing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
