Hello there! I’m curious if anyone else has experienced frustration with the large mouse pointers in Windows 8.1. Are there any third-party tools you recommend for adjusting pointer size? I’ve been using Windows 8.1 for a couple of weeks now and really like it. I came across a suggestion about StartIsBack from a post, which seems to help restore the start menu nicely. It’s my first time joining this community, so this is my initial question. Thanks!

The issue is that the regular mouse pointer appears as a standard mouse cursor. After Windows 8.1 loads all my programs, it enlarges the pointer to a bigger size. Once I close the magnifier, the pointer automatically returns to its original size.

This software was already included with Windows 8.1.
