I refreshed the BIOS and will check the results. I only adjusted the CPU voltage since the board suggested it was a smart move to apply 1.4 volts.

yes, you can leave the GPU in and connect it directly to the motherboard's video output.

Sure, just follow those steps. Make sure the bios reference Onboard/CPU graphics instead of PCIE/Dedicated. Also, change the cables from the dedicated card to the onboard outputs. If it works after installing Windows and putting the dedicated card back, but you still see graphical issues, return the card for a replacement.

It doesn't immediately crash, it simply stops working after freezing for about five minutes.

With a non-working device, issues might appear within minutes to an hour or longer before becoming noticeable. It could take about five minutes for failure since it’s cold at startup. I recommend installing Windows directly from the device, then testing in a dedicated environment, and consider returning it if problems persist. Edit - 3am, time for bed, hope you’re all set. Others might be able to help if needed.
