Checking safety on G2A is recommended. Purchasing directly from G2A is usually more reliable, and using a product key with an ISO can cause issues if you buy from a third party later.

They aren't genuine. The majority of keys originate from the dreamspark program, which are non-transferable and intended just for students. They're also meant to be temporary keys. In short, avoid using G2A.

I purchased it from G2A and it functions properly. Just confirm you receive the G2A guarantee or something similar. (It turns out I might have gotten 8.1 for free through my work)

AFAIK it's been 2 years. The keys function properly unless Microsoft discovers unauthorized purchases of them for others. Still, that doesn't solve the issue.
