Hey! I bought a new system and am hoping to get all the parts next week. Unfortunately, I got a DSP Windows instead of the regular version. Can anyone advise on how to do a clean install with a DSP Windows? Should I set up the hardware, boot from an unformatted drive, and then follow the upgrade instructions? Thanks in advance!

DSP Windows? Just a term I'm not sure about.

Set it up normally, but keep in mind you won’t be able to use the key afterward (consider taking a picture of your PC before installing).

It seems the installation goes smoothly under normal conditions. Issues appear only after modifying motherboards.

I’m concerned about this. From what I understand, the DSP version doesn’t include a DVD, so I can’t just format it and install it. I need to upgrade from my existing version. Please let me know if that’s correct.

I’m considering setting up the new system by building it fresh and starting with the current Windows. My old Windows should work, then I’ll use the upgrade assistant to guide the process.

Insert the DVD and start your system. It remains a complete version of Windows, only with minor licensing variations.

It includes a DVD, but the full package doesn't. I recommend a clean installation to avoid issues from the upgrade.
