It was just a temporary file. The odd thing was its name matched the MS Flight Sim Demo I downloaded, yet it was significantly larger.

Have you needed to stop the flight sim? This might explain why the temporary file isn't being removed.

Windows Defender has stopped working after I installed Windows 8.1, and removing Norton didn’t fully resolve the issue. I’m still experiencing problems occasionally.
