GodMode is a concealed directory that directs searches for Control Panel elements. It wasn’t necessary for anyone to actually view it unless you needed quick access to Control Panel shortcuts. If you used the keyboard to explore GodMode, why not rely on the search function instead? After all, it’s a misnomer.

Perfect when everything’s in one spot—call it "The Snarky Hub"!

I think the search feature isn't used enough. I have almost zero need for the All Programs section of the Start Menu because search would look in there and all I had to do was type up a partial name for the app and press enter without thinking too much about it. Which is also why Windows 8 didn't bother me as much.

I've often encountered issues with the search function not functioning properly. It doesn't seem to locate settings, and when I look for files, they aren't found and I end up searching manually in folders instead. I usually steer clear of it because it hasn't provided much value before.

I don’t rely on searching since I keep my files organized, which means I don’t need to index my data. Still, it functions well when checking in the Start Menu. At least that’s how it goes for me!

I've also attempted it before but couldn't locate any solutions or programs.

I run Windows 8.1 on my desktop and really enjoy it. It performs smoothly, doesn’t crash, updates follow a consistent schedule (often on Tuesday), and offers strong kernel performance at 10.
