Hi! This morning I turned on my PC and everything worked fine—powered up, logged in, but then it started beeping at regular intervals. The sound is fine overall except for the periodic beeps, which seem to come from both the front and back audio ports. It might be a software issue, but I've tried terminating all non-essential processes in Windows without success. I'm currently running a virus scan and would appreciate any advice if you've faced this issue before. Edit: the mixer indicates no sound is being sent, although earlier it did produce about two beeps. It probably gets masked somehow. Edit2: reinstalling the sound driver didn't help. Edit3: the beeps appear under System Sounds in the mixer. Edit4: Problem resolved—lesson learned, always unplug the second keyboard after use; accidents happen.
