I tried setting up Windows 7 using a Ryzen 5 with Vega graphics, and everything seemed to function properly until the restart phase. Then I encountered a severe crash with the error code IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Technical details suggest it’s related to driver issues. It might help to locate AMD drivers through the installation setup, though I’ve already installed all USB drivers. Any advice would be appreciated.

No drivers detected, which is your concern. For modern systems, try using a VM if you need 7.

What version are you looking for? I remember there’s often insufficient support for newer users with the latest AMD drivers on Windows 7. Some people tried adjusting the newer drivers, though I don’t have the full details.

Which Ryzen processor are you using? However, Ryzen doesn't support Windows 7, so it's better to go with Linux or Windows 10/11 and run Windows 7 inside a virtual machine if necessary.

1st quote, yes it defiantly is possible. 2nd quote, I'm not too sure about that right now. Do you absolutely require it for troubleshooting because I can power up the machine and check if you want. Also, it's a HP All-In-One desktop model. It looks the exact same. L

I haven't used it much, but I'm considering trying it out for this.

I'm really near the optimal solution, and I believe I can achieve it with more dedication.

Slight issue, I don't have 100 dollars laying around for VMWare.
