What’s the top choice? People praise Windows 10, though some find it lacking. Windows 8 has mixed opinions. Windows 7 appears reliable with no major complaints. For your new setup, which software would be best?

It would be best to install Windows 8, as it operates efficiently and provides strong stability.

Keep running Linux until Windows 10 is released. Then you can install Windows 7 or 8 for free.

I don’t have a strong choice between Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit or Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit—they both function well for me at the moment. Regarding Windows 10, it’s still in beta until it reaches its final version. I’m using Windows 10 on my PC and it has performed nicely so far. Ultimately, I’d prefer sticking with Windows 7 or 8.1 until Windows 10 is fully released. The main point is that if you have Windows 7 or 8, you can upgrade for free based on what I’ve heard online.
