There seems to be an issue with driver installation on your GTX 860m. It only installs version 368.71 from the Windows update, and the Nvidia control panel stops working. The laptop also runs both Intel 4600 and GTX 860m games simultaneously. I'm checking if version 7 is still available. If it is, would you prefer using it over version 10 for now until you get a new machine? Right now it's just for running Apex, so nothing too serious.

I wouldn’t use Windows 7 any more if you’re able to assist. It hasn’t received any updates in almost two years, and your computer can handle Windows 10 or even Windows 11 smoothly. Have you performed a fresh setup of the operating system?

You have the choice. Your device doesn’t officially accept it, yet you can still add it. It might be easier to keep using Windows 10.

The restrictions can be easily avoided by most users here. However, it’s recommended to keep using Windows 10 for at least another year. Many issues remain with Windows 11, and it stays in a public beta phase regardless of its release status.
