I handled risky data that could cause harm unintentionally. It appears to check for weaknesses. (It wasn’t meant to do that) It remains silent for a while before disappearing. I’m aware it does, but it seems deceptive. Yesterday I removed it after it was blocked from reading files and changing the Adobe update to a compromised version (reported by Kaspersky). Concerning Windows 7’s stability, I’m unsure if a restore point is necessary. I’m curious about the chance of corruption affecting performance, but so far I haven’t seen significant issues.

Restore from the damage caused by the virus. Set Kaspersky to high security, enable keylogger protection, and perform a full scan. Consider using Malwarebytes for extra safety. Adjust settings as needed.

The issue with scanning isn't because the scan is too slow. Your drive setup has a lot of space on both HDD and SSD, and the OS runs smoothly on the SSD. It seems the computer might shut down automatically at night when you're not using it, preventing the scan from finishing. If fixing this would make the system recognize you as absent, that could help. I'm guessing the key logger is flagged in threats or exclusions, with everything active. Unless a vulnerability exists in trusted apps, and you never add trust, that shouldn't be your problem. Are other protections enabled correctly? (excluding adblock and anti-banner)

Run malware scans on it—it’s the tool I keep on my flash drive for fixing computer issues. No one is pushing you to install it. It’s just a recommendation.

Verify your Startup program, check the Task Scheduler for unusual processes, clear temporary files. Perform a boot scan using your antivirus software.
