I purchased Windows 7 Pro from Software Geeks with plans to switch to Windows 10 Pro on my new PC. Since there’s no optical drive, I used a bootable USB. The process didn’t go as expected. When I opened the tool and tried the ISO file from Software Geeks, it reported an error: "The selected file is not a valid ISO file." I resolved this by following their suggested fix. However, after applying that solution, copying files to a USB drive (exceeding the 4GB limit) caused another issue. The program stopped at around 99% and then prompted me to check my USB and the ISO before trying again. I looked at the Microsoft forum link for troubleshooting steps but found no resolution. Any other options or fixes could help?

I don't have a USB drive, but I can help you identify its name if you provide more details about it.

I understand, the phrasing was unclear. The intended reference was manufacturers such as Sandisk, Kingston, etc.

I've often faced difficulties getting that Win7 USB Tool functioning correctly. Suggesting Universal USB Installer is a better alternative. It's popular among users for building bootable Linux installers, though in the 'Select a Linux Distribution' menu, you'll find an option for Windows ISOs at the bottom if you scroll further. I've never encountered any problems installing Windows using it.
