Hello. I changed from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on both my PC and laptop. On the PC, the update settings let me choose to restart automatically during updates, and that option is enabled. However, my laptop doesn’t automatically restart after the update. It only restarts when I manually trigger it. Could someone clarify why the laptop isn’t responding to the automatic update? You mentioned you selected automatic restart in the settings, but it’s not working on the laptop.

The changes might not need a system restart.

However, when using a laptop, the update may not trigger an automatic restart. Only your personal computer restarts after the installation completes. What’s causing this difference?

It's a major change following the new Windows setup. The laptop isn't booting up on its own anymore; only the PC does after the update.
