The disk defragmenter isn't recommended for SSDs, especially in Windows 7. For SSDs, use tools designed for them to avoid damaging performance.

Ensure Trim is activated for AHCI mode in your BIOS. This could be outdated; it's been a while since I handled Windows 7 and Trim

Avoid defragmenting your SSD, as it isn't designed for that. TRIM must be activated in Windows 7—often software available with your SSD provides diagnostic details such as health status. Which SSD model are you using?

On Windows 7, the Disk Defragmenter won’t run TRIM when you press the defrag button—it actually does the opposite. Microsoft states that during scheduled OS updates it will recognize an SSD and trigger TRIM. The tool was renamed to Optimize Drive in Windows 8 and 10; now it identifies SSDs and, when you choose one, click "Optimize" (no longer a Defragment button), it performs TRIM automatically.
