Windows 7 starts taking longer than usual.
Hey, when I power on my computer it takes a lot longer than normal with my Samsung 840 series SSD. After turning it on, I see the Vista boot screen for a short time, then a black screen appears for a while. Once it loads, I get the login screen and type in my password, but it takes a while before everything responds again. After opening programs, they don’t work properly. Eventually, everything functions correctly once the system is running.
I run Windows 7, yet I still see a Vista boot screen, possibly due to a custom boot animation.
I understand this situation. There are hidden options in Windows that can switch to alternatives when something goes wrong. In your case, the boot screen is damaged, so it switches to the older version from Vista. This suggests a deeper issue—your Windows might be compromised somewhere else. It’s best to back up your data, reformat the drive, and start with a clean installation. Attempting to fix it could cause more problems.
