It looks perfectly fine with this laptop. Probably still running its original OS before you begin making changes.

It seems similar to some of the problematic Dell machines, where altering BIOS/UEFI wouldn't save your changes and you lost the ability to dual boot.

I’ll purchase a Windows 7 DVD and test it; if it doesn’t work, I’ll remove the HDD and install it directly on the PC. It saves the BIOS setup, but it’s locked, so I can’t modify any settings.
