I'm running multiple OSes on Windows 7 Parrot OS and Element OS, everything is working fine during boot. However, when I try to turn it off, it keeps showing the shutdown screen instead of shutting down properly.

I believe updates were downloaded from the CD-ROM during installation. Initially I installed Windows first, then switched to the other OS each time I installed one. I checked Windows to see if it would shut down, and it did, but now all the installations are complete. Since Windows doesn’t have a wireless adopter, I haven’t used them much yet.

The term refers to a literal shutdown process, often indicating a system pause or restart instruction. It may also serve as a warning prompt advising users not to power off the device. Older systems might require extra time to complete the shutdown.
