I handle technology for a community college, and we've moved most users to Windows 10. However, some still rely on Windows 7 due to outdated software that isn't compatible with it. Vendors have confirmed their products aren't Windows 10 compliant. Recently, several machines reported they weren't genuine. Removing KB971033 and then running SLMGR -rearm followed by a restart can reinstall the product key and reactivate it—though it wouldn't work before those steps. Any suggestions? Is there a possibility of interference? (Just kidding, it's just odd...)

If those keys had been exposed publicly and frequently utilized within file-sharing communities, it's probable Microsoft would have banned them.

We have roughly six individuals who can access the keys. My supervisor reviewed the key usage with Microsoft, showing it was utilized only 30 times out of our over 500 license count. (We operate a small community college.)

That's what we thought too. I just ended up getting assigned to it by chance, thanks everyone.
