Well, there isn't any official support for the 7xxx or 8xxx series Intel chips on Windows 7, or even 8/8.1 (I think) so it's a shot in the dark as to if you'll have problems or not with just the install.

For each system upgrade, try a few tests to ensure smooth operation. If successful, proceed with 10 attempts. If issues arise, reduce to 7 attempts.

Many upcoming titles are being built to leverage Vulkan instead of DirectX 12, likely due to its cross-platform nature.
