I'm considering whether to pick 7 or 10 for gaming. My setup includes an Intel i5 2400, a NVIDIA 9500GT, 6GB DDR3 RAM, a 120GB SSD plus a 465GB HDD. It's a tough choice!
The system would be considered a 10. Assuming it ran on a Core 2, Pentium or Celeron without an SSD would place it at 7.
Consider using the Ghost Spectre version for Windows 10 if you want newer features and updates. Otherwise, sticking with the standard Windows 10 is fine if you prefer stability.
It feels like a heavily optimized, "gaming" build. I'm currently playing, but after the PC got a new motherboard and other upgrades, it came with Windows 10. I usually hit around 190 FPS in LoL, 80 FPS at full settings, but when I switch to medium settings, I only manage about 10 FPS. I've tried all sorts of operating systems so far.
I agree with you. I simply set up Windows 10 and then use a Windows 10 debloater tool to remove any issues myself. It’s quite straightforward. There are plenty of tutorials on the subject.
Your system is compatible with Windows 10, but Windows 7 is no longer available for support. You won’t receive updates, and newer programs won’t function properly.
