The issue is that no drivers appear at all when I press OK. It seems the system isn't recognizing any drivers at all.

Additionally, when connecting the drive to the USB 2.0 port, it displays an error: "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing," even though your laptop lacks a CD drive.

Your setup is built for Windows 8 and 10. Windows 7 lacks full UEFI compatibility compared to Windows 8. If you don’t have a BIOS emulation mode in the UEFI settings, it might lead to boot failures. The problem should become clearer once you resolve it. The error message clearly states your missing SATA controller drivers, preventing Windows from detecting your storage devices. Windows 7 doesn’t support SATA controllers, so you’ll need a USB flash drive or CD/DVD containing the extracted SATA controller or chipset (which includes the necessary drivers). Keep in mind that at this stage, Windows isn’t installed and can’t run programs or extract zip files. That’s why you require the driver files. If your system uses an M.2 PCIe NVMe device, the same applies—though it’s not a SATA controller, but rather the PCIe M.2 NVMe driver for your specific hardware.
