So i recently bought a new MOBO, CPU and Ram, when i put everything together and loaded up my windows 7 installation disc, i noticed that it would restart the PC a couple seconds into the normal windows 7 loading screen, and would repeat this over and over again. I have extensively searched and tested methods however none seem to work.. Methods I've tried to fix this: Safe mode Safe mode with network Removing ram so there is only one stick Changing the sata cables connected to my SSD and sata ports on the MOBO Testing with a HDD Resetting BIOS And a couple others ive forgotten, please let me know, i cant use any programs obviously as its got no OS on it(sort of the issue) Thanks!

If you attempted to run the previous installation, I’m here to assist (using Paragon Adaptive Restore and the "Adjust OS" feature). However, since you chose to set up a new operating system on a brand-new motherboard, I can’t really help. Many people rush into reinstalling systems, but I responded because I’m unsure exactly what steps you need to take (I tried booting the old system, performed a clean install of Windows 7, then reinstalled).

Current Intel or AMD models won’t run Windows 7, so you’ll have to do a lot to make it work.

Hoops it is then. This was recommended guide: The main issues are that Win7 doesn't support USB3 by default. It doesn't support newer partition modes. Doesn't support something related to SATA controllers. So all these drivers etc. need to be embedded into installer. I'm not providing help any further. Win7 is dead for me.

You can set up Windows 7 with your PS2 keyboard and mouse by transferring the OS from an older machine. Connect the drive with the installed Windows 7 to the new computer, restart and install the necessary drivers via the PS2 device menu. If you encounter a BSOD during startup (rare), download a Paragon Adaptive Restore 2010 ISO, create a bootable USB with Rufus, and use the PS2 input to boot. After installation, wait for standard drivers to appear before adding USB and other missing drivers from Intel support sites. This process is challenging but achievable. I’ve adjusted Windows 7 on older systems like Z370 and Ryzen—both worked smoothly after moving them from older hardware. Just be aware that some sources claim Windows 7 isn’t supported, but that’s not always the case. Most motherboard manufacturers now offer drivers for Windows 7, even if they weren’t available before. There are still users who prefer it, though I don’t recommend it unless you really need it. For most users, Windows 10 is a safer choice.
