Windows 7 installation failed on Acer Nitro 7.
I don’t need to debate, I just want to set up Windows 7 on my laptop. I watched some tutorials and heard people manage to install it, so I’m not sure it’s impossible. Others mention that after several crashes it functioned again, while some tried dual booting Windows 8.1 and 7, ending up with Windows 8.1 as default. One friend said he used a pirated copy of Windows 7 and it worked on an Acer laptop, but the UEFI was only in its original spec. There’s definitely a clear response to these questions.
Everyone agreed as expected. Also, Windows 7 isn't supported anymore, especially with Kaby Lake.
It's definitely possible... as long as drivers are available. You might be able to run Windows 95 if there are compatible drivers for your devices. The Windows 7 installer doesn't support USB 3.0 natively, which means a lot of hardware from different manufacturers isn't covered in the installation files. While it's unlikely to work perfectly, it could randomly function on some systems if you're lucky.
Some people choose version 7 because there are options to reduce the resource usage of Windows 10.
I understand fully using just 7, even though my equipment differs significantly. They might not realize that newer systems can't handle everything anymore and require older technology to function properly.
