Sorry to hear that. The driver you need isn't available in the DriverPacks database. You're using a device with the following details: PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_5A9A, SUBSYS_00000000, REV_0B. One driver you found online doesn't seem to be working—USB ports aren't functioning properly now.

If needed, attempt to install the W10 driver, if possible. Here’s the link: https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mob...af070k.exe

Check Lenovo's update utility here: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/gb/en/produ...ver-update. Remove the device first—many programs won’t fix issues caused by wrong drivers. Windows lets you add a USB driver for non-USB devices, but it won’t resolve the problem.

ok, so locked out by the installer. I can extract the TXEI driver for you if you want, and see if you can install it via device manager, manually pointing it to the driver files? It may be that there is no Win7 compatible driver. Technically, the W10 one should work, but this is OEM lenovo kit, so no guarantee.

I might attempt it. It feels unusual because I previously ran Windows 7 on this device without any issues.

It seems the issue likely stems from a misconfiguration. You can usually turn off "Trusted Execution" and "Management Engine" in the BIOS settings—this often resolves the problem. After removing any remaining references to the device from the device manager (including hidden entries), the incorrect setup should resolve itself.

I pulled every file from the Lenovo bundle—executables and installers—and found Windows 7 driver packages inside. It seems the program is refusing to let them through.
