Windows 7 BSOD issues during installation on a new laptop aren't compatible with ACPI settings.
Hello, yesterday a friend purchased a new laptop and I'm attempting to set up Windows 7. However, during installation I encounter issues loading the Windows files, followed by the "starting windows" message and logo appearing before the system crashes with a BSOD. The machine is an Asus X751M; I've already updated the BIOS, turned off secure boot, and enabled CSM. I've tried installing via USB (preferred) and then using a DVD, but the same problem persists. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
