Hey, after the Windows update (213), I restarted and got a black screen with the cursor on both screens. I opened Task Manager, pressed CLT ALT DEL to open CMD, and ran "start explorer.exe". The process appeared briefly in Task Manager before closing again, leaving a persistent black screen. I set up a regedit shell pointing to explorer.exe. While playing Battlefield 4 via Battle Log and using Chrome in CMD, everything functions normally without the desktop. Any solutions or fixes you have?
Have you checked for viruses? A friend of mine faced a similar issue; we resolved it by using Malwarebytes and the black screen disappeared.
