I plan to set up a new system later this year, likely in July. What operating system should I choose? I already have Windows 7 Ultimate installed. Windows 8.1 might require some adjustments. My main worry is software compatibility—many trading tools run smoothly on Windows 7 and 8.1, but I’m uncertain about Windows 10. How do others decide which OS to use for this situation?

I wouldn't choose Windows 10 for a fresh installation until it's officially available. Using a flawed beta on a new system isn't wise. Stick with what you already have, since both Windows 8 and 7 will automatically upgrade to Windows 10 when it launches.

Choose the most affordable choice, and you’ll receive a free upgrade to Windows 10 alongside Windows 7 & 8.1 (provided they’re all up to date).
