I purchased Windows 7 (OEM) from Microcenter a year ago and still have the receipt. Here are my questions:
1. Is it possible to exchange it for an upgrade to version 8?
2. Can I install it on both my laptop and desktop using the same key?
3. Are there any important details I should know about, especially regarding operating systems and software?
I’m a bit unsure about computers and operating systems, so I want clear guidance.

You cannot swap it, particularly once the key is enabled.
2. You won’t be able to set it up on more than one machine with the identical key.
