Windows 7 64-bit setup issues on an Aorus X570 Elite Ax with dual booting
Hello everyone since i built my gaming PC i have tried many times to install Win7 on my pc so that i can dual boot for gaming reasons .. i have disabled secure boot and enabled old OS support ..i seem to have a USB problem as neither my keyboard and mouse will not work when i get to the windows 7 installation.. Unfortunately my motherboard does not come with a PS2 port i have tried drivers and all but no luck i used a USB wired keyboard and also my wireless keyboard no matter if i use USB 2.0 ports or USB 3.0 nothing works.. i got my hands on a tool that collects drivers for the USB ports & Nvme SSD with no luck .. I don't know if there is some way around the issue or maybe drivers that will actually work
It seems this reference might clarify the USB problem. Checking the link provided could offer useful details.
Many recent updates prevent the installation and removal of the keyboard.
You should inquire with the maker to verify compatibility with Windows 7 on this board. Their available drivers suggest otherwise.
The method seems viable but encounters issues consistently. The system displays an error stating that the Windows 7 image isn’t found, even though there’s an image present within the ISO. Attempts using previous ISO files from older PCs haven’t resolved the problem.
