Hey, I was trying to upgrade my Core 2 duo compact desktop but missed something important—Windows. Right now Windows 10 costs $120 USD. Is there a more affordable alternative or should I stick with the DVD purchase?

I misstated it, it's around 30 dollars. Keep this in mind if you switch your motherboard—you'll need a new key.

Try a temporary OS for a month until you secure the necessary funds.

I think the forum policy is against giving instructions for installing Windows, so I’d recommend purchasing it from a secondary seller.
