I just upgraded my Windows to version 21H1 because I had an older version (around 1909) before. About two months ago I tried updating to 20H2, but a strange issue appeared: my PC would continuously lag, freezing the screen and sound every few seconds. It didn’t stop until I restarted it. After rebooting, the restart process took roughly ten minutes and then the system crashed with a blue screen. Eventually I went back to the older version and decided to wait for the 21H1 release before updating again. Unfortunately, the bug wasn’t fixed in 21H1, and I don’t want to go back to the outdated version. Here’s a link to a YouTube video showing the problem (the mouse cursor changes didn’t bother me). Your PC details: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 8-core processor, 3.60 GHz, 16 GB RAM, Windows 10 Home 21H1, build 19043.985. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks.

I know its a bit late answer but I still have this problem. Just hadn't the time to try fixing it. The only thing I did is reset my pc. It occurs everywhere. It's over the whole computer. Also on my second monitor. So I think its not a problem with any app or programm but with the whole computer. I didnt try safe mode yet. But to make things clear: It does not always occur. It only occurs sometimes and when it does I have to force my PC to shut down by pressing the start-button for 5 seconds or so because otherwise it will take about 10 minutes to shut down/restart. And most of the time it occurs on startup but I had some cases where it just randomly started.
