Hello. You're thinking about a clean install of Windows 11 on your own machine. Right now you have an activated OEM key for Windows 11 Pro. Some people are discussing installing Windows 11 without activation, but there are important considerations. Updates may still be affected, and while the system might attempt to reactivate your key after reinstalling, it's not guaranteed. Running under a local account without Microsoft or an activation is possible, though you'll need to manage permissions carefully. It's a good idea to check recent discussions or forums for real-world experiences.

Yes, you can reinstall and apply the OEM key again. Activating offers benefits without any major drawbacks, while staying on a local account is still possible. It seems unclear why someone would choose this approach.

You can reuse the key by entering the same input when prompted. No special steps are needed beforehand. Linking it to your Microsoft account isn’t required if you’re already activated and using a cloud-based account.

On modern computers, the original manufacturer's key is typically stored on the motherboard and turns on automatically.

During setup, press "I don’t have a key" when prompted for a license during a Windows reinstall. The program will update automatically after connecting to the internet. It functions with both Microsoft accounts and local ones.
