Windows 11 Windows Store issues... unable to run or load any applications.
I’m facing a serious issue. My Microsoft Store isn’t opening even though it appears on my Start menu. When I look at apps or system apps in settings, they’re missing. I thought I removed it, but it still seems partially installed. The reason for uninstalling was that the Xbox app would show errors and prompt updates, which led to problems when I tried to access the Store. After running PowerShell commands and adjusting settings, I’m still stuck.
On my Start page, the Windows Store is visible, but I can’t press it. In Installed Apps and System Components, it’s not listed at all. I can’t open other Windows apps like Snipping Tool without being told the store link can’t be opened.
I’ve tried reinstalling the Xbox app via the launcher, but it fails with error code 0x80073CF6. Windows Store troubleshooter isn’t helping. I’ve used PowerShell to uninstall and reinstall, even reinstalling Windows 11 from ISO. Still getting the same error messages.
I’ve reached out to Microsoft support, but they don’t have a phone line and the help site keeps disconnecting. I’m really hoping you can assist me in getting my Store working again. Thank you for your time and understanding.
