Hello, I need assistance with my Windows 11 internet connection. I'm using a Netgear R7000 with an ExpressVPN router firmware. I'm encountering an error saying the network/IP address could not be found. I've tried restarting everything, which sometimes resolves it. If I keep restarting, it works, but I've also reset the IP and cleared the DNS. This problem began after a Windows update.

I managed to fix it using Wi-Fi from the same router, but I can't connect via Ethernet on my PC. My PS5 and Xbox Series S are connected through Ethernet cables and are functioning properly—no errors detected. On my PC, the Ethernet port is a Realtek PCIe Gbe Family Controller, and the Wi-Fi (Realtek 8851BE) is working as a Realtek 8851BE Wireless LAN Wi-Fi 6 PCI-E NIC.

Please let me know if you can help or offer advice!

Examine the Windows event log for more detailed records around those times. Check if running "ipconfig /all" provides accurate IP configurations. Consider hard-coding the IP settings to observe stability. You might also attempt to revert the recent update to determine if it resolved the issue. Windows 11 often encounters significant problems after each update, and 24H2 continues to report new issues daily. If you verify the update is the cause, investigate further for specific details.

@jtwulfdragon
Also post the full results of "ipconfig /all" here.
You should be able to copy and paste it all with no need to retype everything.
