Windows 11 started taking a lot longer to load.
I own an Acer Aspire 7 A715-41G laptop (R5 3550H/GTX 1650). The SSD KINGSTON OM8PCP3512F-AA 512,1 GB PCIe 3.0 x4 usually starts within 10-15 seconds after turning on the power button, but now it takes around 2 minutes. The drivers have been updated on the official AMD and NVIDIA websites; nothing has changed for the laptop, yet it still experiences such a lengthy Windows loading time. The SSD speed remains consistent, but I’m puzzled as to why.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! It looks like your laptop might need BIOS updates. You should also check if your operating system is pending any updates. A problem with your OS can cause slow performance or even an SSD failure. Keep a bootable USB installer for Windows 11 handy using Windows Media Creation Tools in case you need to reinstall the OS, but be sure to back up all important data beforehand. You might also consider performing a system restore to a point before the issue started.
