Copilot 365 refers to the updated version of Excell, Word, and similar tools. Previously known as Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365, it now includes "Copilot" to highlight its AI features. There’s a possibility Microsoft is encouraging continued use rather than removal.
It seems the setup is definitely in place, at least the icon. I never tried it, so I don’t know why. It might just add more of these things if I start using them. It could be a safeguard for Copilot365—initially the app wouldn’t show that warning, but after uninstalling 365, it worked. Now I need to verify if it’s still present, though I’m not sure how to check on the computer right now.
Yeah but this isn't copilot365, it's definitely copilot as in "ask copilot" , it's basically embedded everywhere (right click etc) so annoying, kinda like bitlocker, but worse!
It appears the item is no longer available in the usual menus, programs, or apps. It seems everything was likely installed with Copilot 365, and the extra version at around 73MB might have been just a link. It’s unclear how to verify if it’s truly removed. To be honest, it looks like Copilot Free is what you’re seeing now.
