I recently installed a 6800xt and all is well, except I am now unable to use windows + P shortcut to bring up the multi monitor dialog box, it flashes onscreen for a second but is blank and disappears. Now I realise I can do this by right clicking the desktop, but it will not give me the very handy option " PC screen only". i am demented by it.

Consider stopping the active AMD programs.

Did you switch from Windows 10 without a full reset? I did the same, but I encountered numerous software issues. A clean reinstall of Windows 11 has resolved everything.

I have had windows 11 since launch on a new install with no issues and I really don't want to reinstall. I haven't got time.

You mentioned uninstalling them via DDU? Did you explore older versions of the drivers? I faced a comparable problem after updating my AMD GPU drivers—I had to rely on DDU and reinstall. It resolved everything. Now pressing Ctrl+P made my two displays function properly. However, DSC and HDMI 2.0 support disappeared, so my monitors couldn't maintain their intended refresh rates. I rolled back the drivers, and it worked again. It looks like AMD GPU quality drivers are at play. In short, uninstall your AMD GPU drivers, try the older Adrenaline 22 driver, and then reinstall Windows 11 if that helps.

I tried DDU during the installation of the new GPU, though it wasn't done recently. I'll give it another go and let me know what happens.
