Windows 11 PC experiences sudden freezes?
Bad news: The PC experienced another freeze shortly before. It tends to happen when I step away from it and resume use, especially after leaving it in sleep mode for at least two days without restarting. It’s strange, mostly freezing occurs when I’m not actively using the system. Any other possibilities? Could be related to MOBO failure?
I will. But there is no "Disabled" in the AOT, only "Automatic", "Manual" and "DOCP".
However, I found something now that might offer more insight into the problem?
While watching a video on YT, I pressed the Space bar on the KB to pause it, then the PC froze. This happened three hours ago when I paused with the space key, but it didn’t freeze when I resumed.
But it doesn’t always occur—I’m pressing the space bar on a video now and it doesn’t freeze.
Unfortunately it froze even at 3000mhz and in manual mode, using 1,35v.
I attempted to remove one RAM bar and used only a 1 16gb bar, but the issue persisted.
I’m unsure what else I should check or do to diagnose the problem.
The only solution left seems to be taking out the second M.2 hard drive I installed a year ago—maybe it’s the cause? It could be that my motherboard has technical problems during installation of the second M.2 HDD, affecting the DDR slots?
What are your thoughts? Or are there other steps or tests you could try?
