Windows 11 devinsider preview on a laptop functions properly, but installing it triggers a compatibility warning. The issue isn't the TPM 2.0 or CPU requirements, but what happens if systems running unsupported versions of Windows 11 get the insider preview.

Downgrading isn<|pad|>, it shouldn't be the problem. Can it continue to function smoothly?

We anticipate a reset and reinstall of version 10. The updates between now and the release might include changes, making it difficult to predict exactly what will happen.

Located this information. It originated from Microsoft but was later taken down. It likely influenced the placement rules for the Windows Insider Program. For participants joining after June 24, 2021, who don’t satisfy the minimum requirements, they’ll be directed to a different channel. Those joining before that date and still failing the criteria can proceed to Win 11 previews but will be restricted to a specific zone. Once general release hits, most move to the Release Preview Channel in the yellow zone, preventing upgrades. If your system meets all conditions, you’ll enter the green zone. Feel free to adjust as needed.

Reminder: This advice might not be perfect—please confirm with others if you have better insights.
