If you're using W10, stick with it until October 2025. It's hard to say if your laptop will last that long. I still have three PCs on W10 because I don't want to spend time installing a new OS and then Microsoft complicates things later. The old PC I upgraded to W11 is just for testing its functionality. I use it for streaming services like YouTube and Netflix, and it performs equally well in both cases. If your device is working now, avoid making changes. Don't interact with an active system.

I performed this on a laptop with an i5 6500U using a USB made in Rufus. There were no issues, no problems, and everything functioned well—including Windows updates. I upgraded the RAM to its maximum capacity (12 GB), which allowed it to run perfectly.
