Hey there. I hope you're not overlooking something important. I've always pressed the Windows key to jump to my computer, which usually takes me to "PC" settings. With Windows 11 it doesn't seem to work that way anymore, and it defaults to a reset option. I remember using Windows key plus E before, but now I'm not sure if that's still reliable. Do you have any suggestions on how to get back to the usual method?

Try creating a batch file called "PC" that starts "My computer." Make sure it appears in the start menu. Run it repeatedly from the start menu until it becomes your preferred option. This approach seems like your best attempt to have Windows favor your desired app.

You initiate the search instead of using a shortcut, and it shows the first app containing "PC" in its name, like PC health check.

It's merely a name adjustment. In Windows 10 it's referred to as My PC. It's clear this wasn't a polished addition for the latest, cutting-edge Windows 11.
