I'm facing a tricky problem. I installed my new setup in April, and since early May my PC won't wake up properly from sleep. The only way was to perform a full reset, which is really annoying because now every sleep cycle feels like a crash. What I do is use the mouse, keyboard, or power button to bring the computer back to life. What I notice is: * The RGB lights turn on, fans spin, but the screen stays dark. * The power indicator keeps flashing (instead of staying steady after waking). * (Update) The motherboard EZ Debug LED shows a red CPU light. I didn’t see this before since the 24-pin was covering it. What I tried: * Updated Windows, graphics drivers, and even changed the BIOS to the latest version. * In BIOS, modified the wake-up settings from "BIOS" to "OS". * In Control Panel > Power Options > Plan Settings > Advanced Power Settings, adjusted Multimedia Settings – “When sharing media” changed from “Prevent idling to sleep” to “Allow the computer to sleep”. * In Event Viewer, reviewed Windows Logs > Systems for errors. No log appears when the PC starts up, only during shutdowns. * (Update) I reached out to Windows support and did an in-place upgrade, but it didn’t solve the issue. I’m confused about how to diagnose and fix this, especially since I’m not familiar with Windows or motherboard sleep modes. My hardware details: * CPU: i9-13900k * Motherboard: MSI MAG z790 Tomahawk WiFi (DDR5) My OS: Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 Installed on 5/12/2023 OS build 22621.1702 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22641.1000.0 Edited May 15, 2023 by flymousechiu update debug led info, windows support session.

You might notice your display ceasing to register input after a certain period, leading to shutdowns. Consider powering off the monitor when you first turn on your PC.

Check for background activities such as updates during sleep mode.

The issue isn't with the display. Trying to restart the monitor or quickly turning on the PC after sleeping doesn't resolve it.

I don't think so, there is no cpu aio pump activity during sleep phase, so i think all tasks has been halted.
