I adjust the Privacy settings in Settings → Privacy and Security → Location and ensure everything is disabled. Then I switch on Dune Awakening or another app, which restores its settings automatically. It seems apps can override Location Services even when it’s turned off. Operating system: Windows 11 Pro, 24H2 OS, Build 26200.5622. What service might I disable or what steps can I take to keep location services off?

Use Win 11 24H2 to restore app location settings when the Geolocation service is active. For permanent removal: press Win + R, go to Services, find Geolocation Service, click Stop and then Disable. This will disable it across the system permanently.

You need to locate the policy that disables the service. Once confirmed, ensure it remains active so the game runs without issues.
