This behavior seems to depend on your screen size and resolution. The number of layouts may change based on how large your display is, and if your monitor isn’t big enough, the layout options might be limited. Checking different settings or adjusting the window manager could help.

Windows 11 isn't fully released yet; your installation is incomplete and may lack certain features.

In the upcoming future, consider submitting Windows Insider build queries under the Windows Insider Thread. Windows 11 remains in development, with a potential launch by year-end if timelines hold. Display settings influence layout choices based on screen resolution and scaling.

Uncertain about the factors, but my setup (22000.51) includes the full 6

laptop features a 4k display along with an external monitor that also supports 4k. I only set it up on my work laptop, so I’m worried about potential crashes on my gaming rig at home. The scaling is set to the default 150% for 4k. If it makes sense, I could try connecting monitors from around the office and test with 1440p and 1080p.

Adjusted the display scaling to an extreme value such as 250%, which reduces your options from six to just four.

Thanks! It seems my screen size might be the issue—1080p isn’t 4K, and my scaling settings are either at 100% or 120%. Probably because of the display itself. No worries, I’ll work with what I have. If I need higher resolution, I can connect to a bigger monitor.
