Windows 11 lacks a dedicated WiFi menu option.
Windows 11 lacks a dedicated WiFi menu option.
I don’t notice a WiFi choice in the quick options on my taskbar (or in the menu when I attempt to add panels to that section). There’s no WiFi setting available in the Settings, and I’m relying on Ethernet instead. My router appears to be damaged after losing power, so I’m trying to link to my phone’s hotspot. I haven’t used WiFi recently on this machine, though I did so earlier this year with Windows 11. My drivers seem to be installed properly, and everything shows up in Device Manager as well as the Control Panel’s Network Adapters section. However, when I try to add a connection from there, it just brings up my quick settings menu—none of which includes WiFi options at all. It keeps running after reboots, and none of the troubleshooting guides seem to help. Thanks for any assistance!
Edit: My adapter is an Intel WiFi 6 AX200 160MHz using the newest driver.
I activated WLAN Auto Config through Services and checked why it didn’t start automatically.
