My computer is an HP Pavillion TG01-0023w r5 3600 1650 super 24 GB RAM (two 16GB modules, each 2666 MHz and 1.3 GHz). To start, here’s a brief background: recently my PC would frequently crash during downloads and updates, which was frustrating because of the slow internet connection. I checked the drive properties in File Explorer and found issues that required a restart while Windows attempted to fix them. After that, I suspected a Windows 10 issue, so I upgraded to Windows 11. Unfortunately, this change broke all my games even after reinstalling them. I tested whether the problem was with Steam or Epic Games, but it affected both GTA V (Epic) and Marvel Avengers (Steam). I also installed the latest Windows updates and graphics drivers. As of now (version 497.29), the situation is still unclear. When launching a game, sometimes it runs smoothly until play starts, then crashes immediately—either freezing completely or only briefly responding when I press the Windows button. If it does respond, it usually just stalls for a moment. The only games that have worked consistently are Fortnite and Minecraft. If you need video examples of this behavior, please share any platforms where I can post clips.

If there were issues on W10, it's probable they got worse or were fixed elsewhere. I'd go with a fresh installation instead.

Everything functioned smoothly on Windows 10, yet the game became unresponsive and slowed down when switching to Windows 11

It seems the system indicated issues with Windows 10 performance.
