Windows 11 isn't functioning correctly.
His friend's laptop runs Windows 11 version 22000.160. After launching, it stopped unexpectedly, showing a message that Windows Explorer isn't working. He shut it down and tried again, but the taskbar apps vanished and he couldn't access the Start menu. Even with desktop shortcuts or keyboard shortcuts, no applications opened.
I’m unable to revert changes because I can’t access the settings. I can only perform a fresh installation of Windows 10, though I’ll have to deal with missing files.
I'm facing the same issue and am not satisfied. The update keeps happening without reversal. I don't have access to a Windows 10 rollback command line; I need a specific string in the Command Prompt. Most control panel functions aren't working. While Chrome runs fine in Task Manager, the knowledge base doesn't help. From Edge I can navigate normally, but my system is almost unusable and I need to restore. I could only get back to a few days ago, but it still fails and reverts to today's update. Updated: Edge freezes after some time, and the interface no longer looks correct.
I access Task Manager via Ctrl+Alt+Del and also enter Safe Mode, though the behavior remains consistent. I can launch the Command Prompt from Advanced Startup. My troubleshooting attempts indicate Windows is attempting to repair a log file at c:\windows\system32\logifles\srt\srtTrail.txt.
Hello, I understand you're facing an issue with your account-specific problems. Since you can't use shortcuts, let's explore other ways to address this. Have you checked any recent changes to your account settings or permissions? Also, try restarting the PC or logging in through a different browser to see if that resolves the issue.
Yes, that works here too But some apps are not working Thank you for this step forward Cheers, Jon UPDATE: My WinTV app will only allow one instance to run & the other profile was running it & now works .... but how do we un corrupt the user account?
I don’t focus much on technology anymore. I only realized this when I faced some issues and began researching again. I haven’t been paying attention since around 2018. Edit: Talking about it, I still use 1809, no need for new windows. Forget the updates. Updated September 3, 2021 by Crazycatman
